I’m half excited and half dreading going in. I wish I wasn’t sick. I hate being sick. I feel like my body has been weak lately.

I got my first birthday present yesterday as the gift Bea ordered for me finally arrived. It’s a cool backpack that is made for my laptop and other technological stuff. It has all sorts of cool pockets for iPods and my laptop. It should work really well!! So now that we have the iMac at home and I have this bag my MacBook Pro will truly go on the road with me everywhere.

I’m typing this post on my new iMac!! It’s money baby! I need to get it all dialed in, but I am loving the look and feel of it so far. It’s an awesome machine. The keyboard is so thin and cool. The 20″ screen seems gigantic compared to my 15″ MacBook Pro. I feel blinded by the light of it. Now it’s time to transfer files and get the new Airport Extreme I bought set up too. The icing on the cake was that we got $200 off any iPod with purchase so we got a 30gb iPod for $50.

I finally got my wireless router to work. I had been laying on my floor next to where the cable plugs into the wall to use my computer even though I have this awesome Macbook Pro because I couldn’t get my wireless router to work. I’m a little stupid when it comes to hardware issues. But I figured it out today and now I’m sitting on the couch with my Macbook on my lap and typing this post. I love it.

I’m sure Brian Potter will mock me now. I deserve it.

I just watched the whole presentation by Steve Jobs and I’m coveting. I just bought a Treo so it’s gonna be about 18 months before I can get one, but this is the best phone ever made. My friend Reedo who works for Verizon Wireless is going to hate me because I will bail for Cingular (they are the only carrier) so fast they won’t know what hit them.
